All right this is gonna be more of an anti-rant against the New Pulsar DTSi than a review. So those of you who were looking for some useful tips can click the back button and read someone else’s review. There are no two ways about it, Pulsar (150 or 180 cc) was the BEST LOOKING bike in the Deluxe segment. After an initial lukewarm response, the bike really picked up and there were Pulsars zooming around all over the place. The styling of the bike was done in a very matter of fact manner. The whole look including the tank, the seat and the big round headlight, everything was just perfect. However looks like Bajaj was not satisfied with this as some over-paid Marketing Manager who wanted to expand the product line came up with the brilliant idea of adding a Doom to the bike and calling it the DTSi. Dumbest move ever. Such extensions don’t work. Coca Cola came up with Vanilla and Cherry flavored Coke and I don’t know which other flavor but did it work? Certainly not. Coz there is nothing like the Classic edition. Whoever designed the new Pulsar has made the Bike look completely GAY.
