I had a Kawasaki Bajaj KB-100 RTZ before I went in for Bajaj Pulsar. I absolutely loved my old bike and especially riding it on the ghats roads from pune to Mumbai. I initially was sad to let go of my old bike. I had it for about 7 years, which was passed from my brother. Anyways enough of praising my old bike !

I bought this in february. I went in for the 180 option because when there was a choice between 150 and 180, why would I even choose ? The DTSi was something which wasnt tried and tested, but I took the risk of buying it. And the risk was well worth it

4 months into buying the bike and 3000kms on the speedometer, the bike has been awesome ! The speed, pickup of the bike is just fabulous ! The best part about the bike is when you are on a signal stuck on a red light, and are on front of the row. The moment the signal turns green, you vrooom through the road, and watch in your rear mirror and the last guy is a good 50 mtrs away ! It is probably the fastest under 1,00,000 Rs bike in India. In fact I even beat a Karizma on a long stretch of road, and that speaks volume of the engine. The DTSi is even faster than the fast 180.

Coming to the flaws of the bike , there are really a few. The handle seems a bit heavy when it comes to deft turning, but I have got used to it. The contours of the front headlights could have finished up right till the tail of the bike.

I finally even managed to go to my favourite pastime, riding my bike on the Mumbai-Pune NH4 highway at the ghats during monsoon. I went there today and it was just brilliant, the raw power of the bike is something never seen. The grip offered by the 180 (Tyres on 150 different) was stupendous on the wet roads of the ghat. I went at 110 on a straight road, and I could feel there was more in the bike !!

The average is also a good 45+ , so all in all I would say this is the best bike out there !
