Pulser 150 dtsi. Review on Bajaj Pulsar

This review is about bike which change biking on Indian road. Yes its not other then Pulsar 150 dtsi. "You can love You can hate it but you cant ignore it".  Best machine in all respect. The story start almost 4 year back in 2003. When I had  join MCA . At that time or may be a year back Bajaj come with something which change the biking concept on Indian road. Like others  college guys I also had dream to ride something which roar on road and make it own style statement. Hero Honda was only option available  that time with so called good bikes..in 100cc and 150 cc segment. I personally never like 100 cc segment even though It was more fuel efficient option. I was speed buff. I remember I borrowed my friend's bike which was hero Honda splendor 100 cc and instantly felt this issomething which is not my type. At speed of 70 kmph splender's shakes and vibrate. I have liking for CBZ but because of its high petrol consumption was not of my choice.

Pulsar was a revelation and instant hit but still not my first choice because it was new in market and whole market was full of rumors, like not fuel efficient , engine weird down after 6 month , have no resale value. Hence I zero downed Hero Honda 125 cc bike. But at last movement with one of my friend suggestion I zero down to pulsar 150 dtsi.

Its tough and quick choice but the moments I had reach Bajaj showroom I was aware that this the bike that I'm looking for my ride. My parent sanctioned me on Rs 40000/- and pulsar was of 56k which was 16 k costly then what I have in my pocket. I was aware my parent didn't approve me any more fund especially for this high speed bike hence I took help of my elder brother. I had called him and said that I have zero down to Pulsar 150 which is 16 K costly but I like this bike and I want him to fund me those extra cash. He said why I'm going for it when I have to ride the bike for just two more year because once I will be in job I surely go for car. But I kept begging him and because of my GREAT Bro' I finally got my dream machine.

All those moment in showroom I keep staring the Bike It was just awesome feeling which can't be captured but can only be felt. Honestly once I was on my bike for my first ride I felt it that my decision was right.

Pulsar 150 dtsi is best combination of POWER + MILEAGE + TECHNOLOGY all I can say just amazing bye on road.

Fuel consumption : It never gives me less then 50 kmpl which was good for me and on my pocket even during those college day with limited pocket money. I drive it mostly in between 60 kmph to 80 kmph and sometime to 100 kmph to 110 kmph ( only on open highway and good road ).

Comforts : Bike is amazingly comfortable I have driven it for 250 km in a day and still I never felt tied . The minimum / average ride used to be between 100 to 120 km with loads of  fun and passion.

Reliability : Bajaj bikes are as reliable as their scooters were use to be in past. Honestly non of the rumor comes true in my case..Pulse is best bike even in Bajaj family. Its almost 4 year now and my bike now a days use to sit ideal in my parking as I don't drive it as I use to before but its has same power and giving me same mileage constantly engine runs almost 25 k now but still smooth and powerful like it use to be in new.

Hero Honda created hype and four year is gone and now everyone knows Bajaj byke and they are hot favs. Situation was not same 4 yrs back as Bajaj was new in field of bikes ..Honestly Pulsar was turning point in Indian biking .

Handling and control : One of the most stable high speed bike on road. You will realized that you are at speed of 80kmph only when you see the speedo meter.  Heavy front of  pulsar make it stable at high speed.Honda Unicorn lack here and is looser. The only other bike which look stable at high speed is CBZ but it again loose to Pulsar 150 because of Poor Mileage. The are new byke in market now and we have so many option but still My love for Pulser is intact. Bike easily reach 80 kmph at just 5500 rpm and at 6000 rmp you will read 90 kmph , 6500 rpm will make you cross 100kmph and still you feel more power and still find enough control at that speed.And that makes pulsar gem of all bike. "SPEED with CONTROL "

I never had an accident at high speed on my bike in last 4 yrs . The disk brake are quite effective and useful when you ride at high speed.

Looks : "Pulsar is best looking bike in her class " It beats even new entrant like apache and new cbz. Its look like leopard and defnitly male bike "
