Hi ... friends ... with this review ... I feel I have joined the bandwagon of MS writers ... and I have done my honest and sincere effort to present this review in the best and the most informative way .... and in case I leave any loopholes .. please let me know ...

Anyways .... I had always longed to own a bike for myself ... and this dream had turned a reality when my dad had gifted me this dampsel purple coloured 150 cc pulsating pulsar DTSI as a surprise gift on 07th may 2004 .... initially I had wondered the way bajaj advertises its products ... it had advertised pulsar by this caption .. though I dont remember but I m trying to recall it ''THE HEARTS WILL MISS THE BEAT .. AND THE HEADS WILL TURN''it was something like that ... and I just felt it was just some caption to market the bike...... but later I realised that the manufacturers were tru ..... I reallly missed my heart beat when I rode this bike .... it was just something ecstastic ...... and as welll the people around u did really wanted to give u r bike a second look ... so surely the heads did turn .......

Well know just lets have a look on how the bike really performs in each department ....

----->OFFCOURSE THE LOOKS<----

Well many of u might really not agree with me ... but its a fact that first a person looks for are the loooks ... it is first the outer looks that a person really gets attracted with ... and this is where u really get attracted to the new pulsar DTSI .... it is a combination of raw and deadly looks with awesome styling and really fabulous display of finest engineering .... but ... but .... if u see the bike from the front end and see the bike from the rear end ... u feel the rear end should had been more stylish ..... and I feel this has been compensated by the new mag wheel version of pulsar where the tyre size has been modified a bit .. to give the pulsar more stylish look ....

i wud rate the styling of pulsar as 4.5/5

Though the bike is not really 150 cc .. falling short my almost 7cc .... it really has brought itself in competition with the CBZ which is a cool 14cc greater than this version of pulsar ... though which is quite almost 1/10 more ... has still brought people to compare the two bikes CBZ , Pulsar .. Fiero .. and the unicorn .....

Rating -4.5/5

----> MOST IMPORTANTLY THE PERFORMANCE<-------

I can just describe the performance of this bike as heavenly.... and that is why I have used the title as a hevenly bike .... it really makes u feel on top of the world while riding this bike ... it can be controlled superbly at the highest speed ... quite awesome cornering .... and when u have this bike to be economical tooo wat more would anyone desire .... with a superb mileage around 60 initially but now it gives me 50-55 average .... the handling as well as the cornering as well as the suspension of the bike is toooo goood .... but one thing I have observed that there is this ''thak'' sound frequently now adays when I mistakenly maneuver my bike over some potholes ... I am really unable to understand wat this sound is .. not only mine bike but most pulsar's have the same problem .... now the main thing .. which I have seen in many reviews is abt the concern of the gear boz ... according to me I can say its just average ... with overall nature of the bike ... lot more wud have been expected from the gear box.... though the false neutrals problem has been overcome by the new DTSI ... it sometimes does fall into neutral irritating u a lot ....

The highest speed on this bike I could reach till now is 108kmph ... though I feel more cuold be reached ... and I fear if my bike is locked after that .. as however much I accelerate after this the speedometer never increases .....

Rating -4.5/5

-------->A LITTLE COMPARISON WITH ITS COUNTERPARTS<--------

Well when I compared my bike with some of the bikes in its segment ... I beleive each bike excelled in their respective departments .... CBZ excelled in looks but wasnt too economical ... Unicorn excelled in performance .. but wasnt too good in looks ... it really is trend I feel for bikes with such performance to have not sleek but atleast macho looks .... then finally pulsar excelled in styling ... loooks ... performance and as well as the economy

Rating

CBZ -4.1/5

Unicorn-4.2/5

Pulsar -4.5/5

now really it has become too difficult to compare as each bike is good .... but as I have experienced each bike .. I feel pulsar accelerates just by a miniscule and emerges the winner ....

So the overall rating I wud assign to pulsar is 4.5/5-------<\b>

Well ... with my honest attempt to review this bike .... being still a learner in writing ... hope u comment and rate my reviews... so I cud improve day by day .....
