Excellence means setting high standards and committing yourself to their attainment.
Personally as my profile said I’m passionate about luxury cars, don’t like riding but circumstances forced me to get a bike. When I had to compromise with a bike, I went for the no1 in the market and that’s Pulsar. Now when I own it, I can definitely say, I love riding now. Thanks to Pulsar, which drags me towards this new fad.
It’s said “change is the only thing which is constant” and it’s utterly adopted by Bajaj. Coming from a traditional scooter world to a new digital biking world, it’s a commendable journey. It has set standards for coming generation bikes.
Deceptive look: The slogan given to this bike “definitely male” is well justified for it. Powerful engine, heavier look, and huskier voice all these confirm the slogan given. It looks like masculine and behaves like a gentleman.
DTSi: First time in India someone introduced “Digital Twin Spark ignition” technology, which is a revolution in Indian motorcycle industry. Till date motorcycle and scooter engines had a single spark plug that ignites the air and fuel mixture inside the combustion chamber. As a result, the rectangular combustion chambers in most motorcycle engines have a certain degree of unburnt air-fuel mix, since the flame front arising from the sparkplug does not reach all the corners of the combustion chamber. This loss of unburnt air-fuel mix leads to lower power and fuel efficiency. After Bajaj Auto perfected the technology for adding a second spark plug to the engine and the engine management systems to go with it, it decided to first put the new technology to work on the Pulsar.
Lights: The fairing incorporates an oval clear lens, multi-reflector headlamp and two pilot lamps — one on each side — mainly to add to the aura of the bike.
The auxiliary number plate lamp just below the new clear lens tail lamp is a more functional add-on. Other cosmetic changes include a new satin tone finish surface plating for the handlebar and a rubber logo insert in the handle bar joint to prevent the ignition keys from scratching the handle bar finish.
