The tragedy with the motorcycle industry in India is No matter how much feedback these companies get but they are Egotistical and Stubborn OR Miser to make any major N minor changes in their exiting models except for 1 company which is constantly making some improvements in its exiting models and produce more high tech mobikes and that company is BAJAJ AUTO.

Bajaj is the only Indian company, which does a lot of R&D in their bikes and launch bikes in all segments for which we real bikers are very thankful, as they are reasonably priced also.

There are few other companies like Kinetic AUTO, which has launched bikes in all segments, but the misfortune is you need a Very Rich Father or have Gigantic Income to afford the Cruiser Aquilla or Sports Comet.

Yamaha has the cruiser Enticer in its stable but there is no sports bike except for the RX 135, which I don?t consider a sports bike.

Again Hero group has the Karizma sports but no cruiser in its stock

NOW about Bajaj pulsar DTS-I that HAS become an auto rickshaw among bikers, the bike is really good in both looks and performance and priced well too.

But few things if changed would make it the perfect bike on Indian roads, these things are The Tank, which looks good, but it should have been designed in way to accommodate the legs of the driver. E.g. Tank of CBZ, UNICORN, GRAPTOR, FEIRO F2.

The Seat should have been slight longer so a family man could make his child and wife sit comfortable on it. At Present It seems as if IT is only meant for Couples.

Dual colors like the CBZ, PASSION PLUS & LML ADERNO

High End models with Mag Wheels & White Dials would make it more appealing and sporty.

According to me the perfect bike on Indian roads would be the combination of several bikes like:

  • Engine- Karizma or pulsar DTS-i 180 & for the Economy class- Honda Unicorn, Bajaj Discover or Wind

  • Petrol tank- CBZ, Honda Unicorn

  • Tail light- Karizma

  • Head light- Pulsar DTS-i

  • Speedometer & display- Karizma with White Dials

  • Chassis, body frame, suspension- Honda unicorn or Pulsar

  • Rear & front tiers of CBZ with mag wheels

  • Color- Dual colors of new CBZ

It is my sincere request to all the real bikers to start some movement against these companies who are not keen on producing and launching more power bikes soon.

Let us make them realize that now is the right time to bring in these bikes or it will be too late as the fuel prices are continuously increasing.

It?s now or never.

This FACT is very visible in the automotive car industry.

Just in 1 year India has seen 2-3 new models and New variants in existing models that?s a sign that the car industry has realized and take a look at the auto magz which is the proof that Ample of new models will be available till 2005 end

And have a look at the Pathetic state of bike industry they either launch bikes meant for the Super Affluent Class or for the Economical, Practical, Down 2 Earth, Middle Class, Poor Indian, because they have No solution to satisfy the expectations of certain class, which have to either buy a Bajaj pulsar and modify it or Buy the Karizma to prove a point.
