I purchased this bike on diwali 2017 and now it's been more than a month so I think that I am totally eligible to write this review of this bike,
So here is my full review of using this bike for more than a month
Firstly I would start with plus points of this bike
LOOKS:
This bike looks completely stunning at first look this bike looks a very muscular Street fighter the new 2017 color scheme add to the beauty of this bike, there are many color option but I personally prefer the new blue color and the dual tone color adds to the beauty of this bike, I purchased the blue one.
BUILD QUALITY:
The build quality of this bike is not like other pulsar, the build quality of this bike is very good all the parts of this bike are properly made and the plastic used is of good quality, so I personally feel that build quality of 2017 version has improved a lot from previous version of this bike, moreover company has also started providing better tyres but make sure that you go for one with MRF rather than the eurogrip as both of them are available at different dealership.
ENGINE:
This bike is powered by a 200 cc dtsi triple spark engine that produces a 23.5 ps of power at 9500 rpm, technically there are no changes in the engine department of the bike but the 2017 engine feel quite better tuned and refined, the engine is more smoother from previous version so overall only tuning of engine has been changed.
BRAKING:
both the front and rear wheel are provided with the new disc breaks but the main change is that now they have started providing abs as an option I personally proffered the one with abs for safety and the abs works totally fine although it has been provided only on front but still one of the cheapest bike with abs in market.
MILEGE:
This bike is giving milege between 35-38 after first service final milege will be known after a bit more usage. These were positives now I would be talking about few negatives of this bike
NO FUEL INJECTION:
outside india bajaj is selling pulsar with fuel injection but in India they are still selling one with carburettor engine.
SERVICE:
Service of bajaj has improved but it's still not that good so I think bajaj should look on this aspect.
FINAL VERDICT:
overall it's one of the best purchase in 200 cc segment so one should definitely go for it.
