I have been using this bike since Aug 2006, when it was launched in the market. I like this bike as it gives consistent fuel efficency of 45-50kmpl. Maintanence wise it don't need much care. Spares are comparitively cheap. Look wise I rate it just below Yamaha FZ16.
I highly recommend this bike in this segment. There is a simple problem of Digital Fuel Meter in rainy season. But what I feel that they might have rectified it in their newer bikes. Gear shift is good but not that smooth compared to Hero Honda Or Honda Bikes.
As far as power is concerned in this bike Bajaj has given very good combination of number of gears and break Horse power. Any time of your travel you may not feel that you need some more gears "Vibration problem is not at all there in this bike". You can use this bike on the highway upto 95Km/Hrs smoothly. Beyond that I have not tried
