What is the first thing you feel when you look at the all new 220? Arrogant. I got on the bike feeling all the “hot blood” running through my head. I just wanted to go very fast. I couldn’t care less about the traffic, I was sure I’d find some way past everyone. After all, I was on the Fastest Indian.

The bike is full of shear arrogance up front. Forget the sober looks of the 200, this bike is all about business. Its very shouty about what it is, and that is a very good bike. Bajaj has retained its look upfront, but says that the new head lamps provide better illumination. I just hope they do, cause this isn’t a bike you are going to just want to cruise around.

The new inverted ‘F’ just looks fantastic, and the all black theme is just perfect. Even the new Tachometer looks quite stylish. The rear end is exactly the same as the 200, but somehow, it just feel different with that awesome front end. The riding position is quite comfortable and I must say I liked the handling. The bike feels well balanced and you aren’t going to fall off it that easily.

And boy! The bike is fast. You see an open road and flex the throttle and the bike instantly responds to the call. We hit a 110 on a very short piece of road. It’s pick up is just awesome. We were on public roads and we had to slow down due to traffic. But it was an incredible feeling. The bike is I’m sure capable of a lot more! I’ve heard that it’ll go all the way to 144, and the way it got to 110, I’m sure it will go to 130 beyond easily.

However there are a few things I’m concerned about.

To anyone who might consider buying it, Take care of your bike. Thrashing it around sometime is okay, but don’t do it all the time. When you fall off, I bet the front end is going to be very expensive to replace.

I think buyers are also going to have to think about the economy though. I’ve heard it’ll do 40+ and I hope that’s true cause it’d be a real big minus point to what is an over all a very good bike. I’m also worried about the reliability of the bike, because as we all know, pulsars aren’t exactly famous for their reliability.

But you just can’t get away from that feel. It is a bike for people who just want to relive their carefree teenage years.

PS:- All comments are very valuable. Please feel free to express your opinion on the bike.
