I own a P-180 UG-3 and its been with me for more than 3 yrs now.. Review as follows:

Extremely Reliable bike... never has any of those tantrums of "not starting"... Pickup issues etc..

Gives me a consistent mileage of 45 approx.. the least was 35 when I went to ooty from bangalore... else in city its been 43-47 in whtever conditions you ride... ride it smooth ... abuse... rev... slow... anything man... the bike s built like a rhino... I LOVE it...

Have had almost no problems till date with starting in the morning... (i always kick start in the morning 1st time... recommended)... 2 kicks and it revs like a lion... love tht... wink... then some idling.. while pressing and releasing the clutch (regulating oil in the sump) etc and its good to go.. vrooommm... The battery s never given up on me (regular servicing is what is imp too)...

City riding is fantastic... I generally dont cross 60 KMPH in city (Life s precious) and for that my bike rides smooth and slow.. and well.. some lonely patch and wowww http://www... 80 90 is a piece of cake.. Highly stable even at 100KMPH... havent crossed 110 till now.. rock steady...

The digi speedo works like a charm and my fuel gauge indicator is quite accurate unlike what I ve heard from people... Once the Backlight stopped functioning and it was changed within seconds.. no questions asked... (in warranty)...

I find the riding position quite decent... people say they start having pain in the back or hands after riding for some timebut I have rarely felt this... (fingers went a little numb once after riding for 150 KM in the city in 1 day.. too much usgae of clutch I guess)....

Like they say nothing s perfect... well... I have my own set of problems with my P-180 but they are like peanuts.. as follows:

Gearbox is not very refined.. Gear change gets problematic at times... (engine oil plays a big big part here.. I use motul or valvoline which works like a charm... CASTROl.. naah... not for P-180... they dont have the 20W50 grading oil only.)... post servicing the gear changes are quite smooth but with time as the oil is worked up and used it does get a little difficult.. not a big problem though...

i have noticed that at times if the engine gets killed (due to rider s fault) during the night (digi speedo and headlight etc are on) and you start the bike again with the lights on the digi speedo does not get lit (headlight comes back though).. but this happens once in a while.. no idea why this happens...

Somehow I feel the bike skids a bit.. but that maybe totally due to my riding style and not a issue with the MRF Zapper s grip... wink...

I will recommend P-180 to anyone and everyone.. it is an amazing bike to go for.. 3 yrs and going.. Pulsar rules... Kindly let me know if I have missed anything in the review...

Thanks...
