I got my all-black Pulsar 180 DTSi allll the way back in 2007! The full-black edition only came with the 180cc model and not with the 150. It is probably too late to write this review but in case, someone finds a good condition bike and wants to buy it. this may help.
Appeal: The all-black edition had all back parts. The plastics, the metals, the alloys, all of it! This bike oozed appeal. With the exhaust note of a refined diesel generator:p
Road Grip:
Well the stock tires were the standard MRFs. Nothing special about them, just normal hard compound tires to cut costs. Mine lasted for about 12k kilometers but the grip was average. It would fish-tail during monsoons. After that I got a set of CEAT soft compound ones. Better grip but shorter life. Well safety first, isnt it?
Reliability:
Highly reliable. Never gave up on me in the most adverse road and weather conditions. The only time it broke down was due to my own fault.
Comfort: Average comfort. The stance is quite sporty so don't expect it to be comfortable like a cruiser.
Mileage: Again average. It gave me about 35km / liter. But considering its mid-RPM performance, 35kmpl is good.
If you ever get to ride a good condition pulsar 180 from 2007-08, do give it a whirl. It's worth it.
