I did test drive of pulsar 180. Review on Bajaj Pulsar 180

Right now I am having splendour plus. Using it since 2 years I did test drive of new cbz extreme, pulsar 150 and 180. Briefly on Cbz extreme: riding position and shock absors are good. Rajeev_Vermacially in roads having lot of ups and downs. Front and back disc brake. Didn't feel the pickup of a 150cc bike like pulsar. In digital console, no low battery / charging indicator, no low fuel warning indicator, etc. No backlit switches, no side stand warning, overall looks good. pulsar 150 cc Pulsar looks sporty and after I getting on, I felt great. And the pick up is good. Very stylish, and every one knows about pulsar 150. So on much talks on 150 Now my dream bike pulsar 180 Pulsar 150 & 180 looks almost same. When I got on pulsar 180. I felt a great difference from 150, and felt great sporty feel.

And I pressed the start button. The 180cc engine comes to life. I drove on long fly over bridge in NH7 to feel the power which is near to showroom. I drove at 120 kmph. The bike reached the speed in a matter few seconds. I felt a real MONSTER ENERGY. Great pick up. The bike went like a missile piercing the air. No fear of vehicles crossing since I drove on fly over. Due to fly over bridge, wind is blowing stronger. And at 120 kmph, no vibration, no one side pushing due to wind. Felt a great strait line stability. And at that speed I applied both brakes. The front portion went down smoothly. I felt true sporty, excellent brakes. I felt as if I am riding y2k bike. But p180 will be 1 or 2% equal to y2k. P180's turning radius is long. So somewhat difficult to drive in cities Rajeev_Vermacially traffics. I really impressed on pulsar 180. And going to buy p180 on mid month of dec. Because I am going to mumbai for training programme.

I cannot wait for new 2012 next generation pulsar, and cannot wait for 1st jan 2012. Since I use splendour. My mind set is highly concerned on mileage part. After I did test drive of p180, I my self compromised. For p180, if it gives 40 to 50 kmpl it is great. P180 costs 79k in karur, tamil nadu.  For people wants to buy 150. Just do test drive of 180.
