Well I have my pulsar 150 since 2009. so I can tell valuable experience of mine. .
First the review.
Pros-
comfortable
nice pickup
fair mileage( 55kms/l that's my bike's)
durable
stock tyers have good grip
reasonable spare parts
low servicing cost
CONS-
-Back pannel and racer would make noise. because they wear off on average rough drive? chain sprocket wears off at 5k
-if you ride fast your clutch plate will wear off frequently changing engine oil advisable every 2-3 -paint from the edges of alloy wheels would chip off .
- Over period of time the power reduces so does pickup( new set of cluth. Plate and head .timing chain and sprocket brings back the power
ADVICE
dont get yor servicing done outside bajaj. it will harm your bike. Other than this . careful maintenance and this is best bike in class.
DON'T APPLY k& N air filters or any . they just weakens the engine.
If you're. On for stunts like stoppie then your shockers will be obsolete within a week. plus driving off roads again harms both the shockers. When I bought this bike it came with new features like black alloys the air scoop front end of tank thing like they had in pulsar 200. and a rod handlebar.
Over the years modifications I did was clips on handlebars as anyone who bought 150 in my time would want it as 180 and 220 were only pulsars to have clips on handlebars.
Then I added new set of tyres fatter ones.
And tank guard
Got my seats into split seats like 180 or 220
Those bars of pillion seats too.
Then I raised the rear shocker to 2 inches.
Over all I had tried to get the 180 look.and I was successful too. im sharing picture of my bike what it looks today
