Actually my bro bought this wonderful red bike.I was not happy with its huge power at that times (year 2005-I think). Its a 150DTSI first model bike. At early stages it delivered nearly 58-60 km/ltr and very smooth ride. At that time I owned a passion, it delivered only 55-58km/ ltr with lesser power and not so comfortable. Passion shivers after 70km, sound changes after 60.

From 2008 half-till now, am using that red male thing.my bro did regular services timely before that. Authorize service center's will drain your pocket. Dear friends, maintain your bike with a trusted mechanic (normal two wheeler workshop). I also did 2 times service at authorized center where my bro did. I realized how they drain us.when we give our bike at a same place, they have previous service records of our bike in their system, and will at-least change brake shoes -for example, after 2 service at 2500km. Just after 25000KM THEY DID DE-CARBONISING. Before 27000km they changed brake shoes rear 3-4  times.

After 27000 till 92000km, I changed  only 2 times brake shoes and once clutch plates. Just now I serviced the engine head for its minor leak. Rest all the years, am using regularly for more than 5 years-frankly saying, this machine is superb with no brake-downs except tyre punctures. My bikes starter choke is chocked-because I never used that any time.

I did service regularly at 3000km till 60000km. After wards till service at 5000km, I used Castrol active and now Veedol, had to top up engine oil at 2000km due to compression leak.

I AM GETTING A MILEAGE OF 60+(62-63) PRESENTLY AFTER A GOOD SERVICE. I AM RIDING MOSTLY AT 70+KM. ON HIGHWAYS AT 80-90 RANGE.OVERALL WILL GET 60/LTR. I AM FEELING A NICE PICK UP AND JUST A SMALL POWER LOSS AFTER THESE LONG YEARS RIDE.STILL CAN RULE THE ROAD AHEAD.EVEN AT 100KM/PER HOUR MY BOY WILL NOT SHIVER AND HAVE GOOD STABILITY.

DON'T THINK I GOT REGULARLY 60 +/LTR.SOMETIMES 54-55, DUE TO OIL CHANGE. MY EXPERIENCE IS, MILEAGE BECOMES LESS AFTER SERVICE, AND WILL REGAIN AFTER 1300-1500KM FOR A OLD VEHICLE.

DEAR GUYS IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO BUY A BIKE.PLEASE ASK ABOUT LATEST BIKES PERFORMANCE .DON'T RELY ON OLD MACHINES PERFORMANCE. I AM NOT SAYING NEW BAJAJ IS GOOD OR BAD. JUST INQUIRE WITH USERS AND YOUR EXPERT TECH.

ABOUT SCOOTER, READ MY REVIEW  ABT TVS WEGO. A NICE SCOOTER WITH 52-54 MILEAGE ON ALL CONDITIONS.
