Nice bike but needs care ..Take it but be carefull. Review on Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTSi

I have 150 cc Bajaj pulsar, purchased in June 2008. I use my bike only for a fun at weekends. Hence after 2 yrs the total ride is close to 10500km only, I always take care of it like a good companion & parked in a covered parking space, I never try rough riding, because that can be danger for me and others. I have done my all services as per company advised & maintenance level of my bike is almost ‘A’ Grade, However I found….

Oil leakage problem in my front suspensions: - I have discussed this problem is my last service( 9800Kms) with service station person he has adjusted the rubber sealing & suggest me to replace the rubber sealing of suspension & may be it will be solve in next service.

Major sound problem at speed of 60Km/hrs & above while I never ride the bike more then 72Km/hrs on top gear:- As per service man it’s an fix cause in all Bagaj auto Bikes & increased with respect to cubic capacity(CC) of the engine. So please if you are not a rush rider & can ride yr bike below 60KM/hrs then choose Bajaj or go for your next choice.

Handle Bend- The problem was from the beginning but it was not detected during test ride, so during first free service, service station refused to change the part at company cost. It was so frustrating because I knew it was a mistake of BAZAJ Quality team or showroom vehicle unloading workers. But I have paid the cost of that unbearable mistake. So please always take test ride of the vehicle till your good satisfaction level. Check every outer part for dent, bend, rust & major scratch. Don’t get hurry, take your time & if showroom person doesn’t support you check the vehicle, you can complain the showroom owner against him also. After all if money is yours then choice should be yours.

I have written all odds of the Bajaj pulsar 150CC to aware you friends. But we know Pulsar is now one of the top bikes in the market because of its look & pick-up. Fuel consumption of this segment is average & in the range of 45 to 50 Km/Ltr Balance & control of the bike is good but be careful at speed of more then 60Km/hrs because breaking of the bike is not very effective at this speed.

At the end I’ll suggest you to buy Bajaj pulsar150CC but please be careful during purchase & take best piece from the showroom to your home. Ride care fully & control the bike, never give control of your life in to its hand, because life is so important,
