I bought this vehicle in March 2010, and so far it has run about 9000 Km. I use it to commute to office, and my daily route is usually choked with traffic and slow moving.
Pulsar 135 is very suitable for driving in traffic. Due to its light weight we can easily move around. It gives a very good mileage within the city - more than 55kmpl. It has some distinct looks also. Regarding the product as such there are a few points I found not done properly. The digital battery indicator always shows low battery due to some electrical fault.
When I bought the vehicle, it was having an idle speed of around 1500 rpm. During my second service they seems to have reduced this, and since then, the vehicle stalls whenever we slow down in traffic jam / speed bumps.
Also, the rear seat is not very comfortable to sit for the pillion rider. The seat is slippery and positioned slantingly and since it is a split seat, usually the person behind reaches the split opening between the two seats.
With features that are usually found in 150+ cc performance bikes, the pricing of this bike is competetive, and a person with around 60K budget and looking for a high performance / high mileage bike can go for this. If you can afford to spend an additional 10K, there are a number of better choices than this.
