Hi Bike lovers, I bought a Bajaj Platina 100 kick start model in 2015 March for(Sri lankan ruppees) SLR 168000. I have ride about 15000km. All services done as specified. First 2 services were free(But had to pay for engine oil). Service center was very organized. And their work also was good.
I choosed this bike because Im more concerned about petrol cost than other things. So, from the first day onwards when I go to gas station, I noted down The meter reading and the petrol cost, then I can calculate Each months cost and mileage info. I am very happy to say that I get a mileage above 72kmpl on city roads. Still didnt get a chance to test in Highways.
Seat and shock absobers are doing a good job even on bumpy roads. And Seat is long inough for three persons. Rare brake is dangeorous. Bike slides when applied. So I recommend Platina riders to use front brake most of the time. But do not apply suddenly. 70% front brake+ 30% rare brak is a safe combination.
