Not Bad. Review on Bajaj Kristal DTS-i

I have bought Kristal on loan when I got new job.

Initially It made be totally pissed off. Everyday morning I used to take gods name and start the bike.

With my experiences I would say, the main prob in this bike is the Starting problem, specially in the morning,

but once it will get started it will go wooo.

The main reason for this is, the new technology of keeping the petrol tank front, which is bit lower then the engine, which is placed below seat and is bit higher then the petrol tank.

To carry petrol from tank to engine they have placed a tiny chip like thing which they call motor, which will suck the petrol and push it to the engine as you switch o the ignition.

so, if any prob will happen in this process, no petrol will reach to the engine and as a result the engine will not start.

sometimes bike will start properly, with the petrol inside the carborator, but after few distance, again it will stop.

Uff, too much techy this bike is!

But no need to worry friends. I have few tips for u to check in ur bike as u start it.

1. Once you switch on the ignition, you will feel some sound inside ur bike. you will feel it clearly when you put hand on top of handles. this is because the motor will take petrol and send it to the engine.

DURING THIS PARTICULAR MOMENT, JUST WAIT FOR A WHILE. ONECE IT WILL GET FINISHED YOU CAN GIVE THE SHELF.

1. If ur bike is not starting, open the small cabinet inside the seat and pull the pipe and check whether the petrol is flowing or not. If petrol is coming properly then one big problem is sorted.

3.The most important thing is TRY TO USE KICK START INITIALLY IN THE MORNING, INSTEAD OF SHELF. this will save ur battery power.
