RIDE AND HANDLING

Talk about ride and handling and the Dominar 400 surely won’t disappoint at all. It has been fitted with thick 43 mm conventional telescopic forks towards the front perhaps Bajaj wanted to cut some costs ( the concept motorcycle showcased at the auto show had inverted forks) while the rear profile features mono shock setup which will be tuned towards comfort instead of performance riding.

Coming to the brakes the Dominar 400 test mule which was caught testing couple of times and it was fitted with radically mounted, four-piston units which are also seen on the KTM motorcycles as well. The front wheels gets massive 320 mm disc brakes towards the front while the rear gets 230 mm discs. Bajaj has also provided duel channel ABS setup for the safety of the rider which is also first in a Bajaj Motorcycle. There is also a Non ABS Variant available as well which has been priced slightly lower than the ABS equipped variant.

As far as the riding position is concerned the Dominar 400 gets a cruiser like low slung setup with far away positioned broad handlebar and forward positioned footpegs.
