After owning this bike since August 2010 I thought it is good time now to share my views and personal experience about this bike. Let me put them in the following heads.

1) Performance - The performance of this bike is decent and the engine is not a very smooth one. It has good amount of power and there is no problem of hitting up to 40 - 50 Km/Hr in city conditions. Once you keep going on good throttle, the bike is a no problem and is a good performer.

But there nests a demon in this engine. It has a problem of stopping when you close the throttle in order to shift gears or taking bends. This problem is extremely irritating and at times could be dangerous in speedy traffic. I took this vehicle to the service centres thrice to correct this problem but of no use. They work on the tuning screws and immediately it seems different but the problem persists. I confirm that this is not due to any auto choke, battery or anything else. The service centre guys told me that this is very common with Discover 150. Owing to this problem I would give Discover 150 poor marks in the area of Reliability.

2) Looks - As it is said "Beauty is in the beholder's eye', the look of this bike is Discover type(like a template). I personally like the looks as it is normal commuter bike type and I demand very little fancy. The meters are all analogue and here also I have no complain. I knew these and liked it before the purchase.

3) Price - The price as many of us know by now is path breaking. Other big brands have managed to bring out 100 - 125 CC at this price or a little more.

4) Mileage - My one gives aroung 50 - 55 Km/L which is very good considering that the vehicle is still new and the mileage normally improves after the run-in phase.

5) Handling - The handling of the bike is very good. Since the rear tyres are wider it gives a better balance. Getting around corners is better than many of its rivals. Also, owing to the front disc brakes, the riding in crammed city traffic is very effective.

This is so far my significant discoveries. I will update the post once I get some finding worth a share.

Ride safe. Cheers!
