Hi friends, This is Prashanth from Chennai. After doing many researches in the internet. Finally I have bought Bajaj Discover 135cc Disc. I also had a choice of Honda Shine and TVS Flame in my list. But Honda Shine is not youthful and TVS Flame has some demerits. Discover has decent look and mileage. Its performance is also good. Its handling and control are excellent. This bike is very comfortable to ride. As this bike has proper seating position it does not cause any back pain. The head lamp is powerful as well as the horn. Finally I have given merits and demerits of this bike below:
Merits:
1) Decent look, stylish and youthful.
2) Good Mileage in this 135cc segment(53kmpl to 55kmpl)
3) Correct seating position
4) Good performance
5) Very comfortable to ride
6) Has good suspension and as it has good tyre base, the bike slides even in high degrees without skidding.
7) Has rmp meter it is very very useful
8) Head lamp and horn are powerful. And switches are also good.
9) Finally the engine sound is like music. It is very manly.
Demerits:
1) This bike does not have chain cover so dust start accumulating in the chain. The sales person in the showroom said that as this is a sport model there is no chain guard. But this bike is not 100% sportive so there is no meaning in that. Having a chain guard is advisable.
2) Has only 4 gears if it has 5 gears it would have been better.
3) Slight vibration after 60+ Kmph. But I have not noticed any problem because of this.
I will strongly recommend this bike to any one who plans to buy in 125cc segment. Once again BAJAJ proved that they are clever and innovative by giving out this product.
