My review on discover 125 st:

After a very long haul, nearly 800 kms, here it comes a review straight from my heart and pocket..as you had already read about techie specs, I would skip that part and come to bottom line to what you want to hear

firstly to tell you that I am ex-p220 sigh, hence I knew that transition would be very difficult, cos its like shifting from sky to earth, anyway moving on, here it goes:

spare my words if they are harsh, all I want is to write unbiased and short review, I m not writing this with p220 in my mind, but few basic necessary things that this segment do require and this being commuter oriented ecpect highway to be major part of it, now as you know highways being very risky route, it is very imp to adhere to following needs.

1) riding comfort - well its good, but I somehow felt that seating should have been soft, my rear and back hurts after 20 kms of ride, yeah I travel 60km daily, office to and fro.

2) Suspensions : yeah this has mono, but seriously it does hurt by back sometimes, I am 5"10, while jumping some bumpers, could have been bit better, normally its alright.

3) Looks: I would say its good, but lets see if it lasts for over a year or two, if it, then it would be really good.

4) Handling : omg I will fall, I will skid, this is the feeling that I get while I ride on highways, tyres are big blah, would change and then see if it handles highway well..p220 is the 'winner' on highways, I am not comparing but just highlighting the impeccable handling requirements on highways, where if you miss you miss! no turning back.

5) mileage : ahh, now I have picked a spot where like every Indian I too surrendered and rendered into this category, trust me guys I have not been disappoint till date, I filled full over brim around 13litres, completed first service and hit reserve at 700, so if reserve is around 3, I must say I have hit 70 mark! voila!

having said above I still think its good vehicle to own, it has few glitches but then who hasnt?

ps: BAL, please consider changing tyres, its risky to have such coin shaped tyres, plus the china brand? what were you thinking? instead sell vehicles without tryes, see if this helps costing!
