I am from Sri Lanka and I
am riding the Discover for the last 7 months and it has not given me any
problems so far. Unless small sounds, this is normal along with the day to day
wear and tear. As long as the bike is
well maintained it gives the best out come. You cannot expect the quality which
the Japanese bikes give unless you could afford the price.
As most of you guys complain, the hum which comes from the
chain box is normal. I have inspected over 25 bikes, all of the bikes have
humming sound. The hum mainly comes from the chain sprocket. I also had the
same problem at start but once the chain slackness is adjusted and oiled the hum
completely stopped. Other than that the bike is the finest fine. I am a high speed rider, top speed of my bike is 120-130 Kmph. The carb is tuned for high speed. The bike is well controlled and effortless at these high speeds. It’s just
fantastic and unequalled to any other 125cc bikes. And the petrol consumption is 55-60Kmpl.
Also I would like to ask from you
guys, is it possible to fix the entire Front Disk brake system to the Bajaj discover
which has the drum brakes? Has anyone done this. Any suggestions and inquiries please mail me to the following
