If somebody is planning to buy a new bike then bajaj CT 100 will not be his/her first choice because in comparison to this there are lots of good two wheeler available in same price band. here the details are mentioned why you should not prefer Bajaj CT100.
(1) first of all if I talk about its fuel efficiency, it is not meeting its advertisement at all. their advertisement shows it has very high fuel efficiency but actually it shows around 60km/ltr. which is not good with 97cc vehicle.
(2) it is a very light vehicle due to light weight it create lot of riding discomfort while you drive this over 50km/hr. again its seating posture is not good at all hence if you drive for a long distance around 100km then it may causes back pain.
(3) it is a very low maintenance bike. you have to spend around 1000 rupees in paid servicing time. you can ride to anywhere with low pocket money. one major problem with this bike is, its chain sprocket does not last long. you have to replace it in every 20000km.
(4) its handling is not so good. a lot of vibration will start occurring once your speed go beyond 50km/hr. its riding comfort is very bad. if you ride this over marking present on the road then there is a chance of slip or in other word its road grip is not good.
(5) at last if I talk about its look, it is also not a very good looking bike as well. it look decent.
finally if somebody ask about my suggestion I definitely not recommend this bike.
