Hi everyone this is my first ever review on mouthshut.com
My father bought this bike in 2002, it ran over 15000kms
First of all looks:
Looks are pretty ok or just ok... the red one looks better than the black one.
Mileage
When we bought this bike, the ads showed 95kmpl but it gives just half of it!!!!
I took t bike for service for this very reason...
Later I saw mouthshut reviews complaining mileage of 30-40 in good riding conditions....
One can expect a mileage of 70-80 if t ad shows 95kmpl...but if you are extremely lucky u can get 50
Well dont expect to get even that if you are carrying your wife behind you.
Comfort
A Bike of Zero comfort. It is best suited for USA where t road is smooth and there is no work for shock absorbers
The bike shockabsorbers are poor in quality. Your body muscles are real shock absorbers...
Well I often end up with chest pain when I come from my college 20km from home having rough patches... so now I tak bike to small trips having smooth roads.
Reliability
Well Bajaj motorcycles are really reliable...i must confess, my handling was rough at times, but it never stopped in between even once.
so u can cover up the distance without any tension but this is true in all modern bikes, so no extra marks for reliability
I conclude with "NOW GOOD IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH"
