Finally thought of giving my reviews and comment after two years of incredible experience with this bike. Driven over 20000kms and still seems like the bike is ready for any challenge. Driven through entire coastal Karnataka, Kerala during Monsoons and hill rides through Western Ghats. The bike performs phenomenal and its giving the same performance till date.

I'll first write down the points against the bike and then will go into the Positive features:

Against:

My first suggestion if anybody is seriously looking for this bike, city riding is not that comfortable due to its handling.

Fuel efficiency forget about that. Initially I used to get 45-50kpl. But it drastically affects the performance. In windy conditions the bike is bit hard to control at high speed. Its a disaster to jam the front disc breaks in sandy ground. Getting control on breaks take time for initial riders as avenger's breaking condition bit different than non-cruiser bikes. The pillion rider seat a bit uncomfortable during long (when I say long its not less than 500kms) ride.

For:

Its a bike for those who love long roads, wind through their head and crossing unimaginable distances. The bike performance is very different in high ways than in cities. Bike gives an amazing comfort label for the rider. I have covered 1000kms in a day and without any back pain. Max speed I have taken the bike to is around 115+kph. And its very comfortable to be at that speed. No vibration at all. It picks the speed very quickly if gear and clutches are shifted properly and by the time you reach 5th gear the bike will be running above 80kph. The bike gives an astonishing comfort and control riding through the hills. The lights and indicators are very much powerful (this helps riding through misty weathers and during nights). With over 200kgs of loading (rider+pillion rider+ tent+ foods+ clothes+ water reserves) the bike performance remains the same and becomes more stable. And one thing which I have not seen anybody else writing in their reviews is the availability of camping lights in avenger. Its very helpful during camping in the night time and the battery gives a backup of around 1Hour as per the manual book. But I never tried more than 45 minutes, cause the battery may drain out.

Till now my experience is phenomenal with this bike. The only 2 problems I faced during all my rides: a) Tire Puncture (which is common in all tube tires)

b) I was needed to change the battery after using for 18000kms. I have only used 4 kick start during this 2 years.

I hope this info may help for long riding enthusiasts looking to buy Avenger.
