Burden on your pocket. Review on Bajaj Avenger

The bajaj avenger bike has good looks and an image of a comfort giving bike but the reality lies some where else.The truth of thus bike is known to them only who own this bike.This bike comes in 2 variants and those are in variancy to the engine.1 comes witha 180cc engine and the other comes with a 220 cc engine.But teeling the truth that whatever varriant that 1 choses, thus bike will just give him a big burdem in his pocketThere are many major points that are notable for this bike such as comfort, look, mileage, reliability, road grip, maintenance cost etc.Im giving this bike a negative rating ang many of us will give the same who has used it.The 1st major problem with this bike comes on a point which is the first concern of most of the person. And i.e. its AVERAGE.The first and the major con of this bike is that this bike gives a very poor average of 20-25 kmpl.The company claims its average to be in between 40-45 kmpl. But the reality is far different. And the on the personal experience basis this bike gives an average of 20-25 in the city with rush. And in the highway roads where brakes are applied less the average is atmost 30 kmpl.I agree that always the original average is less from what company claims but the difference that I see over here is very huge. Which cannot be accepted.The other major con of this bike is the reliability.Their are two such things which are not reliable and acceptable of this bike. They are1. The problem with the gear box which continuously makes a sound while riding. The gear is tight and not free. 1 may feek it difgicult to put gears.2. The engine after 2 years gives up and you sureky will have to get the maintainance done of the engine in just 2 yearsTheir is 1 more thing and that is the maintainance cost. The maintenance cost of this bike is also not less the chain spocket, engine and may other things will ask for maintanence in no time and the cost of the parts is also too high.Howeber the looks and comfort of the bike is good. The bajaj has given it a classical look and the bike is comfortabke also for both the pasangerWhereas the road grip can also be said to be average.So keep this points in mind and have a happy ride ahead.
