hello guz,

I have ablue avenger.i bought the avenger two months back; and it has been an pretty cool experience with the bike. first , I drove the bike into a road divider ( I wz drunk) and had a terrible impact . The bike shot up in the air ( the speed wz around 50 kmph), aand when it landed the throttle wz stuck wide open. so it did a ''cool'' spin , when I tried to pick it up. Then somehow I managed to turn the ignition off ( its hard finding the key which is under the tank in a situation like this). then I pulled the bike to the side, and guess what.. I didnt have a single injury. the bike's leg guard took all the impact. And there were few scratches on the silencer guards. And ya the front rim was deformed in the act which I got changed the next day. But I dont think if it would have been any other bike like the pulsar or the CBZ; you could have escaped an accident like this without an injury.so the moral of the story, this bike is ultra safe.

And regarding other things bout the bike. Looks are of course awesome. I love the jealous eyez of other motorists and admiring eyez of the ladies. But I dont think the bike is as maneuverable as the ducati used by trinity in the matrix . he he . Yes you hve to drive it like a four wheeler ( in lane). Regarding bike's pick up its really gud 16.5 BHP is some power but you cant compare it with those macho royal enfeilds. I tried to race with a thunderbird guy.. but cudnt catch up with em. But still , the bike remains stable , and there is no vibration at 90kmph. I havent crossed 90kmph yet. The brakes of course are cool, the paddle for the rear drum brake is really comfortable and the front disc brake..what ... its a disc brake.. I dont think I need to say more.

The only problems I have wid d bike is the gear shifting and some problem wid d front wheel. The gears do shift to lower one sometimes when they arent properly engaged, or when you hit a pothole. And there is some resistance in the front wheel. its movment is not free, I think the bearing is damaged. And yes one more problem..... why the hell bajaj didnt put a fuel meter??... I did ran out of gas and had to pull the bike for about a kilometre bearing the eyez of some fuckerz... mocking at me .. and hearing voices like '' AWWW A-VEN-GER'' ... bajaj guyz if you read this review ... pahleez...dont do this to any other other model u release.

But overall I m satisfied with the bike. And yes .. did I forget to mention the mileage.. it gives a mileage of 41 to me .. when I constantly try to drive it at 60kmph.

and its decent enough I think . I bought the bike expectin a mileage of 30- 35. Newayz.. I m proud owner of the avenger and do feel like god sometimes
