Hi Guys,

I really wanted to buy Eliminator. But was way out of reach.

Then I saw an article in Business section in Times of India stating that Bajaj is relaunching blah blah blah... anyways you know it by now.

Eliminator is a successful entry level cruiser (lets not discuss about Yamaha Enticer!) and has been around for many years around the world. And it proves to be a excellent cruiser for the money.

Baja has done a good work by relaunching it with Pulsar 180 CC engine.

The ride is really comfortable, power is enough to bring on the feeling of flying on highways, braking is really relly good and effective (was saved on the very first day), suspension (front) is quite effective though rear suspension is a bit taught and does not really bounce back (the way you would expect for such a heavy bike).

The mileage is really great (45+)!!

Some of the downsides have been already mentioned by my peers and superiors in this site and for reference these are engine-kill, fuel gauge etc.

One thing I have noticed is that some time gears slip (2-4-5). Some times its very difficult to bring the bike in neutral (specially at red lights).

Another thing, which definitely needs to be improved is the stability of the handle at slow speeds (specially at slow moving traffic: though the bike is not really ment to go through the traffic).

I bought a RED one, as the cute shape is not that much highlighted in the black, blue and (strange) gray colour.

The bike looks seeeeexy. Already (in last 26 days) around 9 people have asked me about the bike at RED LIGHTS!!

My colleagues were exasperated when I told them I bought a bike (which I did after taking delivery and taking it to office directly). There comments were really sarcastic considering I am married for last 8 years, have 2 kids and have lost most my hair!!!

Well !! once they saw the bike they changed there opinions standing RIGHT THERE!!

Well I bought the bike because I WANTED TO. And I really do not care how I look on bike and who looks at me while driving.

Want a BIKE ?

Do not give a second thought!!

Buy AVENGER!!

Ciao!!
