My brother has recently purchased Bajaj Avenger Street 220. I am a fan of Avenger I asked my brother and took his new bike and went on a ride which was like 50 km. But seriously I wanted to say the feel of riding this bike is not describable. I am a lover of speed. I tried to speed up the bike and reached maximum of 114 kmph which is not much but as a cruise its acceptable.
The main thing which I loved the most is bike does not vibrate at all. Quite attractive isn't it.
The engine displacement of the bike is 220 cc with only 1 cylinder has a maximum power of 18 bhp.
It has 2 valves per cylinder which is quite an engineering.
Fuel delivery system is through carburetor. Ignition is Digital Twin Spark Ignition and has 2 spark plugs per cylinder.
It has liquid cooled cooling system which is pretty much common now a days almost all the bike comes up with the same cooling system.
Number of gears is 5.
Transmission type is Chain Drive and has wet multi-plate clutch.
Colors available in the market is Matte Black which is quite robotic means definitely male color.
Bajaj has made some changes on the suspension front is Telescopic with anti friction this is again quite an engineering whereas rear is Twin shock absorber which is quite common on Indian Road.
Fuel tank capacity is 14 litres on which 3 litres are around is reserve fuel.
Onroad price is like around 1 lakh.
Which is really deserving.
This is quite an amazing bike which is launched by Bajaj exclusively for India.
