I have a health insurance plan with Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Co. Ltd., Policy No OG-11-1002-8600-00000002 for a Sum Assured 300000 which I took on Sept 2010. In this policy I included my parents, my wife, my daughter and son. The premium company has charged below 14000 per year for 6 people. In the 1st policy year I had no claim but on November 2011 my wife was admitted to Calcutta Medical Research Institute with severe pain in her left lower portion from hip joint to left feet. She was admitted on 14th December 2011 under Dr. Ajay Agarwal (Neuro Surgeon) and a operation was done on her spine after MRI. I had Cash Less Mediclaim and I submitted all documents in the hospital Insurance claim desk on admission.
On very next day I was confirmed by the hospital authority that BAGIC has approved 50000 on spot. At the time of final billing of 73195 the hospital authority informed that they have submitted the final bill to BAGIC and waiting for further approval. Within 1 hour the approval came and the hospital authority released the patient.
The hospital authority also informed me that as BAGIC has no TPA and BAGIC deals directly with the hospital, the approval came so fast.
I will suggest all people to adopt BAGIC for their Health Insurance.
I read some review in the mouth shut about BAGIC and after that I realize that those who has no work at all and they open internet to pass time can pass some stupid remarks about Bajaj Allianz Health Insurance.
