This is a public interest review and I will recommend unsuspecting customers to stay away from Bajaj Allianz and specially in the General / Travel insurance section - I don't have some direct experience about Life but it should be equally hopeless as the management is the same.


Bajaj Allianz is actually taking the Allianz brand image for a ride and I have heard at least 5 expereinces from my circle of freinds and family who are pissed off with this company's inefficient and unprofessional service.




  1. The agents are absolute illiterate and ill-trained, most of them have no knowledge about the products what they are selling and just tell lies to the customers.




  2. There is no renewal system in place, the policies will get lapsed and no one would care to inform you, even the LIC is much more pro-active.




  3. The call center is manned by inefficient people and they have no clue, all the do is take your number and say they will arrange a call-back which never happens.




  4. My friend has a car insurance and they put almost all data wrong including the very important registration number of the car. He has to call them continuously for 3 months to get the paper corrected. Can anyone tell me why he should take this pain? Has Rahul Bajaj started this venture to give employment to some half-educated inefficient class of people(their agents)




  5. They don't follow any of the best practices which Allianz follows globally and I don't know why Allianz could not seek a better professional group as their partner.






The customers are taken for a ride and once you have paid the premium it is your headache to get things right in the policy because then if something happens these buggers will not pay you the money.


IRDA is an teethless body and the are actually doing nothing for consumer interest. They should immediately have a cancellation policy(which is there actually in Germany, Allianz's home country) where the insurance company is bound to refund the money on a pro-rata basis if the user is not getting service.


PLEASE DON"T GO WITH BAJAJ ALLIANZ. They don't care and I am if in the worst case some mishap happens in your life or property, then you will have to run post to pillar to get claim if at all they pay.
