I am not yet a customer of BA. but would surely b by tomorrow. Well I am having a TATA AIG car insurance policy, which is due for renewal in next week.
As expected I started getting phone calls from the difference companies for renewal !! This time BA person called me up and quoted the premium. Similar TATA AIG (TA) called for renewal !!
I had a claim before a month (major body damage), which is yet to be settled with TA... Hence this time I have to forget the NCB.. and that's y was ready to may amount greater than or equals to my current premium !! As expected TA quoted me bit higher premium than the current..But to my surprised BAJAJ Alianze (BA) quoted almost 1000Rs less with a HUGE 45% bonus !!!
Later on both the companies provided me 100% depreciation benefit policy !! TA charged 9K where as BA was quoting 6.5K..I thought that its a kind of JOKE and asked them to sent me details in writing (email).. after several emails (undelivered to me) and phone calls !!! finally I gave them a cheque of 6.8K (increasing the IDV) for FULL CLAIM Amount benefit !!
After half an hour I got a call from the executive (senior person) telling that the cheque I have given does not include the FULL CLAIM Amount benefit !!
I was shocked and confused !! they said that the cheque amount is for comprehensive policy !! and does not include any additional benefit !!
Then they again sent me several emails (only 1 reached to my mail box).. where they charged 3.5 K extra for the add on cover !!!
I updated the TA with all these happenings and they told me that there is no such policy launched by them !! and its not possible that they can give such a low premium !!
1 day I actually asked the TA person to talk to the BA person and clarify themselfs among the premium amount war !!! it was a really FUNNY sittuation for me being a customer as 2 different representatives where actually debating on the the premium value being quoted to me !!
finally the battle is WON by BAJAJ Alianze !! as we settled on 6.8K.. with out add on cover..
the TA guy once again reduced 600 rupees and finally quoted 7.4K to me..
Now I am here on Mouth Shut to check the REVIEW on Bajaj Alianze !! :-/
