It is a story of friendship and fraud. I dont know why Chopra company is now taking interest in fraud and thief. You remember Dhoom, Dhoom-2 and Bunty and Bubbly. Badmaash company is a clone of Bunty and Bubbly. But the fraud venture by 4 guys is mind blowing. You will miss action of Dhoom-2 and Dhoom-1. But the method of fraud is outstanding.
I don’t reveal entire story..because some fans of my review complaint me....Though I am telling little bit...The starting of the film is excellent, giving difference between 1994 and today’s life style. Shahid doesnt want to do MBA (as his father wants to ) and want to start his unique business of fraud to become rich person. For that purpose, he makes company with his two friend and includes Anushka, his beloved. Different method of fraud will never let you bore in theater. The story goes up and down. The story contains love between Shahid and Anuska, Quarrel between four friend, transformation from cheater to good guy and many more. things..
All the four guys are rocking. Shahid ’s acting is mind blowing..Remind me Bard Pit and Geroge Coolney of Ocean’11 series. Anuska looks gorgeous. You will forget shy Anushka of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Music is good. Thanks to Pritam. The story is good but script is slightly weak. You will find Manmohan Singh as Fianance minster , not PM and how his liberation policy affect these four guys. The film mostly revolves round custom duty fraud.
Major Faults : Though film is set in 1994 or 1993. The costume of the cast looks moden. This is is the only fault of Parmeet sethi, Husband of Archaana Puran Singh, Coonnected with yash raj from the time of DDLG
Adult Content : The film contains many adult content, not good for children , not good for family viewing. The much awaited Shahid-Anushka’s kiss in car where Mohra’s song "Tip Tip Barsa" is going on. ( See Mohra is hit film of 1994, and film is set in 1994, so good direction)
Badmaash Company is a highly intellectual film, not a tradition fraud film like Bunty and Bubbly, Bap Numbri Beta Dus Nambari. Have you seen Hollywood film like Ocean's 11, 12 or Sword Fish ? Badmaash Company is much more ahead even than these films. Because no murders, no action scenes are there , yet fraud methods of these four guys are interesting. When you see this film, you keep on thinking what they are doing. You will not understand their fraud if you are not careful. Shahid's narration about fraud, what they are doing is helpful in understanding the film.
I am not talking about..Performance, Music, or Script....All iz Well....But First Half is very interesting, Second half is somewhat boring. Shahid-Anuska's chemistry makes this film perfect. Rest of the Artist are good.
Some kissing scenes and exposure of Anuska makes her different form her previous role in Rab Ne Band di...
In a nut shell, the film is good but you will find somewhat hidden dislike after watching. I dont know what that element but you will not fully satisfied like 3 Idiots with this film. But in this hot summer, a cool film for movie lovers
Final Conclusion : Overall , film is good, but once you see the film and know the secret, you will not see film again and again. You will miss friendship of 3 idiots and cheating and action of Dhoom series.
