I am writing this review because Badami is my living place, so I know much about this historic place which is famous for its Red colored cave temples that created 1500 yrs ago by great Chalukya dynasty emperors .
This is a great place for history loving and culture loving morever art loving people, when you visit Badami youn will see some great NATARAJ sclupture encraved in Red rock. This is one of the earlier statue of nataraj idol by the by its a beutiful idol, which itself shows 18 different poses of Bharatanatya Dance. Total 108 poses can be made through this one statue.
Hotels are not that good here, but restaurents good but they are a bit away from Badami itself.And also you can visit aihole and pattadakallu from here, its only 20km away from here.
