Apologies for giving this a rather predictable review title but I couldn't have put it more succinctly. This film about a morally bankrupt high school teacher trying everything to get a boob job should have been uproariously funny but falls flat - repeatedly.
Cameron Diaz is very good as the eponymous teacher but the plot and it's treatment is so contrived that the more the film tries to shock the more banal it becomes. It tries desperately to make the lead character as shocking as possible and then wants to force one to like her. Timberlake and Segal are both very reliable and they offer good support here.
If you want to watch a funny black comedy about a repulsive character on an oblivious road to 'recovery' I recommend 'Bad Santa'.
