I am a very biiiig music freak. I like listening to all types of music and in any language…Hindi, English, Marathi, Tamil, Arabic… although the only languages I understand are Hindi, English, and Marathi. I like any song, which has a good music, irrespective of whether it is rock, pop, metal, jazz or techno.
I have many favorite songs however there are very few albums in which I enjoy all the songs. One of my all time favorite album is BAD by Michael Jackson.
Released way back in 1988, Bad has been MJ second highest selling album.
Michael Jackson who started singing at a young age of 5 years was the lead singer in the group “Jackson Five”. He later on released his first solo album in 1979 “Off The Wall” followed by “Thriller” in1983. “Thriller” holds the record for being the highest selling album by an individual artist. My favorite MJ album however is “Bad” which was released after “Thriller”. I basically happen to be a MJ fan because of this particular album. Bad album was followed by “Dangerous”, “HIStory” and “Blood On The Dance Floor”. These albums are good but in my opinion not better than Bad.

Just last year I borrowed Bad CD from a friend of mine and even got the song “Leave Me Alone” which was not present in the album, which I had.
Songs:
Bad: This song has a fantastic music and an equally great video. Now I don’t quite know what MJ is singing in this song. I really find it difficult to understand the https://lyrics. The only sentence or should I say phrase that I understand is –“You know I’m bad…I’m bad… you know it…” However I like the music and the video very much.
The way you make me feel: This song is about MJ singing to some girl how she makes him feel …she turns him on etc…etc. Basically a tapori song in which MJ is trying to impress a girl and gain her attention.
Liberian Girl: A lovy dovvy mushy song in which MJ sings how his girlfriend has brought about a changed in his life for good.
<Man In Mirror: One of the few MJ song in which I understand the lyrics!!. Infact this songs happens to be my favorite because of its https://lyrics. The lyrics are:
I’m starting with the man in the mirror
I’m asking him to change his ways

Take a look at yourself and make the change
I Just Can’t Stop Loving You: This is a very slow mushy track as the name of the song suggests. A very uncharacteristic MJ track because you hear MJ’s typical cry “…ouw…” (A sound which has always been associated with MJ’s not so famous pelvic movement) just twice and that too towards the end of the song.
Dirty Diana: My second most favorite song of all times, I’m just head over heels for this particular song. The slow soothing beat of the song has a touch of rock music to it. A faaaantastic song.
Smooth Criminal: I happen to be a MJ fan basically because of this song. It has great music with an even better video. The most unfortunate part however is that I don’t understand the lyrics of this song too!!…just like the song Bad. Only the sentence “Eddie are you watching… Eddie are you ok” can be figured out. However as I said the music is simple great.
I have owned this album from so many years, I still listen to it atleast once in a week and I haven’t got fed up with it. It is indeed one of the best albumsof all times.
