Dont judge a book by its cover. Dont judge this hotel by the pictures on its web page. You'll get fooled like us. Their standard rooms were completely pathetic, with the AC hardly functional. The bathrooms are small and the attendants are are uncouth. The food was bad, the ambience even worse. When the buffet was available the Ala Carte was unavailable. That meant one had to choose from the buffet whether you liked it or not. If you like the buffet, good, if you didnt bad luck!
When we reached this hotel we decided on a early dinner hosted out in the park beside the pool. The arrangement was pathetic. The lights were dim but not in a romantic way (more in an irritating manner). The waiters were too occupied with a big foreign party comprising of senior french citizens. It was chaos for the hotel. They could not handle a bunch of old folks! Worse, insects were flying around(result of no pesticides or insecticides). The food didnt make up for the lapses either. Grudgingly we reclined to our unattractive bedroom to face a more challenging tomorrow. Morning buffet- was OK but the Chef couldnt make a proper cheese omlette.
My wife had to stand beside him and instruct him how to make one for her own b'fast!!! We left our swimming costume at the poolside and it disappeared when we returned back to claim it after 15 minutes!! Our search yielded no results, and we had to settle for a lousy looking swimming costume at a much more expensive price from the same hotel( our search in the city for shopping a ladies swimming costume was equally unfruitful l!!). We discovered only costumes with funny frocks available in the malls there.
A holiday is all about relaxation, ambience, mood, etc...you will have non of it here. Avoid it at all costs. There definately must be better hotels at the amount that they charge(overcharge, considering their services).....
