Known is drop unknown is Ocean when you see this movie you forgot what you known also. This type of movie you cannt expect from super star rajani a film after a gap of more than two years was released with a lot of hype and expectations.

Baba (Rajanikanth) is born with the blessings of a Babaji who is living in the Himalayas for over 2,000 years. Despite this Baba grows up as an atheist and a rugged guy but a man of help in need. In such one deed he enters into tangle with a state minister Krishna Murthy ( Ashish Vidyarthi) by beating his son. The political leader is after Baba to take revenge. Simultaneously Baba meets a girl in the neighborhood and gets attracted to her. The girl Chamundeswari (Manisha Koirala ) too falls in love. But in his fight with the political powers Baba loses his property and becomes a daily labourer. Manisha rejects marriage with him because of his present status. Her rejection makes Baba realises that attachment to wife and family is nothing but a myth. And it’s at that time he gets a call from Babaji in the Himalayas. A sadhu takes the atheist to Babaji in the Himalayas. Here Baba picks up an argument with Babaji whether god exists. Babaji teaches Baba a mantra that can be used seven times and realise any wish he asks for. Baba comes back but he doesn’t believe in what happened to him. So he goes on testing the mantra on silly things. He realises the truth after wasting a couple of chances. And he is left with a few chances to get his wishes. This is the time the political leaders want to use those wishes for their career. When they failed they wage a fight against him with the help of a tantrik (Amrish Puri) and evil spirits. What would Baba do with those wishes and where those wishes lead Baba’s life is the rest of the story.

This socio fantasy story written by Rajani himself with the blessings of a Baba, he believes, is nothing but a combination of his perspective of life and image he has among the masses. He tried to club his personal aspirations and his fans in this thus giving a political colour to the story in the second half. The film goes fast as long as Baba is in dilemma on the existence of god but gets dragged once the film takes the political overtones. There is too much of drama with Baba fighting the political evils and bad spirits thus making the film saggy at the end. The tempo is not maintained throughout the film and there are lapses too in the screenplay.
