Baabul - A Family Drama. Review on Baabul

I able to watch Baabul with my sister on previous Sunday & I must say it is a very good film, which we will see with our family members.Okay, now here is the review:

Amitabh Bacchan(Balraj Kapoor) is a rich business man. He is a good father & good husband. His wife Hema Malini(Shobna Kapoor) is beautiful & intelligent woman. Her life involves around his husband & his son. Salman Khan(Ainash Kapoor aka Avi) is charming & idle son. Rani Mukherjee(Malvika Talwar aka Milli) is from middle class family. She loves painting. Then, Salman & Rani get married. They had a son named Ansh. Life becomes so happy for Balraj family. But in one day while crossing road Avinash dies. Life become a stand-still for Balraj family. Amitabh Bacchan wanted that Rani should get re-married. So, he talks to Rajat(John Abhram). Rajat is a childhood friend of Rani. So, Amitabh decided to remarry Rani with John. But Amitabh's elder son Ompuri disagree on this. He still believs in old rituals. Hema Malini is too disagree on view of Rani's 2 wedding. But at end, everything goes well.

Now perfomances:

Amitabh Bachan: He is very good in the role of Balraj Kapoor. His chemistry with Hema Mallini is very nice. He too shares a good onscreen chemistry with Salman as father & son relationship. Rani also looks good with Amitabh.

Hema Mallini: She is very nice in the role of Shobhna Kapoor. She looks so beautiful in the movie. She looks very good with Amitabh Bachan.

Salman Khan: He looks very charming in the movie. He also performed very well in the movie. He shares a good relation with Amitabh. His scenes with Rani are too perfect.

Rani Mukherjee: Rani is the maharani of bollywood. She can do any role. Rani looks so gorgeous with Salman in the movie. Scenes between Amitabh & Rani are also very nice.

Ansh: Oh! He is so cute lovely boy. Some of his scenes are very nice.

John Abhram: He does his role very well. But he doesn't look good with Rani Mukherjee. I think Abhishek looks good as Rajat. Abhishek & Rani share a good chemistry.

Om Puri: He is a senior character in the movie. He acts very well.

The other star cast includes: Saarika, Rajpal Yadav, Aman Verma, Vaishnavi & others.

The first half is very fast & good, while second half becomes slow. And at end, film gives a social message. Overall a good film to warch with family members.

I don't know why this film fails in India, but it is doing good business in U.K.

Baabul reminds me of Barjjatya's family drama films. And I like Salman Khan in family movies.

Songs of Baabul are very nice. Especially Come On Come On, Kehta Hai Baabul, Bawari Piya Ki & Vaada Raha
