I had purchased this tablet on 11-Jan-2013 for Rs.4700/- in Hyderabad. After studying a lot of online reviews, I decided to go for this tablet as it is being marketed by BSNL a renowned and trusted brand. I did not go for Micromax or other brands as my friends faced a lot of servicing issues.
Well I went ahead and purchased it. This model comes only in milk white color and looks very nice and cool. The build quality is simply amazing. Good quality.(Hence the 3 stars !!)

The Pros:

1) Very good build quality
2) Cheap price. Less than Rs.5000
3) 7 inch capacitative screen
4) USB and HDMI ports
5) Cortex A8 1 GHz processor
6) Expandable upto 32 GB through Micro SD card
7) Comes with Android Ice cream sandwich version 4.0.3 out of the box
8) Good speaker volume
9) USB mouse or Keyboard can be directly used by plugging into the full size USB port provided
10) Acceptable video quality
11) Wifi present (This is standard now across all low budget tablets)
12) Touch quality and response is good and fast
The Cons:

1) This one also suffers with poor viewing angles like the rest of the budget tablets
2) Resolution is only 800 x 600 pixels
3) Pixelation is clearly visible
4) Only 512 MB RAM (though it states as 512 MB it shows the total as 280 MB only. Maybe a software bug)
5) Lagging present due to low RAM
6) Only 2.8 GB usable out of the total 4GB inbuilt memory
7) Only front cam is available and that too 0.3 megapixel
8) No good preinstalled applications
9) Slightly heavier at 320 grams
10) No bundled accessories !!! You will get only the Tablet and the charger. Not even earphones, USB cable !!!
11) Not all USB Internet data card dongles work with this one. The company provides a list which dongles will work. List also available in their website
Overall I recommend this tablet for people who have a very tight budget and are casual users but not heavy users. This is more of a value for money product rather than a performance tablet.
Will be sufficient for people who use browsing the internet, facebook chatting etc and occasional movies watching (Not HD of course :-)) Not recommended for gamers as well as multi tasking as this tablet is low on RAM. By the way the company is not saying anything about Android Jelly bean update for this tablet.
If you are looking for a higher resolution with slightly more higher features you can check the BSNL Penta WS702C which is having a screen resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and 1 GB RAM but you have to spend upto 7000 rupees. SIM card slot and voice calling are bonus for this WS702C model.
