BSNL-DATAONE Broadband. Review on BSNL NetOne Dial Up

Hi,

I took the BSNL DATAONE Broadband and got my connection finally today.

I have taken a 1200 rs plan under which I will get a 4 GB limit per month.

The speed is fantastic and the installation process is very simple but still the BSNL people will charge you 500 Rs for the installation and I feel that is too costly and you can skip if u can install by yourself.

I tested the speed from the website broadbang.org.in as soon I started using and I got the following reports.

Connection : 250 kbps

Transfer rate : 56 Kb/sec

And the connection speed varies in a rapid manner for each session.

It is very fast and always remains on wihthout any problem.

For the next four months I will be having unlimited downloads and then I have to limit myself with 4 Gb/month.

U will get an ADSL 2+ Modem(Looks pretty good and is black in colour like an external modem) and an splitter switch which gives to an telephone line.

The Bsnl phone can be used while browsing.

I downloaded a 5 mb in 1.7 Min and That is all.

my piece of advice to all the BSNL customers is to go for this Broadband and it is very reliable and that too from the govenment itself.Reduce ur plan and take this broadband if anyone wants to cut the cost.

Thanks to Thiru Dayanidhi Maran and the BSNL department for putting a cheque on the private ISP money dwindlers and cheaters like Sify.

Now that all the ISP will reduce the cost and the people stand to get the best deal.
