Good One. Review on BSNL EVDO

I live in Ranchi ihave been using EVDO for a month now and I must say I am impressed.The speed is good.though it claims to be 2.4mbps but genrally the speed ranges from 512kbps-1.15mbps its gives a max of 120kbps while downloading files from torrent.usually the speed ranges from 60-80kbps while downloading.The device cost me Rs3500 and the plan is Rs 550 unlimited.The activation fess is Rs500 you can also purchase the device in instalment scheme, i would recommend the instalment as you can find out how the service is in your area.The package contains the USB EVDO device a data cable driver cd and the user manual and warranty card.The installation is hassle free.and the user interface is very friendly though the skin of the connecting software takes time to load.The customer care support is very good.It is a on demand service just pay and take the device home but it will take the bsnl guys about 2-4 days to activate the EVDO service in that time it will give a speed of 144kbps and the device will work on cdma 1x network.EVDO is a 3g service.You can roam in your home state.National roaming is yet to be made available.I hope you find it useful.Comments will be appreciated.You can see the proof of the speed on https://flickr.com/photos/mafiacat/3319939920/in/photostream/

2.Customer support depends upon humans so varies from place to place, whenever I vist the customer care office the people are more than happy to answer my questions and help me out.

3.Speed varies from place to place even in the same city and depends upon many factors.

4.If you dont have a rapidshare premium account you will have problems downloading from rapid share as the same ip address is shared by many users.
