On 25th April, 2013 I approached in Mangalore for telephone and broadband connection for my daughter, Since I was a shifting my residence to a flat from where the bsnl telecom connection was surrendered a few days back, I was informed if I submitted the form along with requisite documents I will get the connection within 2-3 days.
On 26th April, I submitted the form along the requisite fees I was informed that I will get the connection in 2 days time, since no additional wiring was required in the premises. on 27th April around 10 am I got a call that my connection will be activated within 5 pm in the evening and around 4 pm I got a call that my connection was activated and my broadband connection will be activated on Monday since the next day happened to be Sunday. But around 5 pm I got a call that the technician will visit my premises and activate the broadband connection too. Before night fall both my telephone as well as broadband was ready.
I got the connection with 48 hours. I am using this forum the thank the BSNL office in Mangalore for the prompt and excellent service rendered. And all the staff with whom I had to interact for the telephone connection were very friendly and prompt in their service. Even over the phone they spoke very politely. May their tribe last long. Extend my special to thanks to each and every one of the staff for their prompt service. While everyone cribs about the pathetic service the telecom service, they have rendered very excellent service.
