I would say, that BSNL offers more than it initially promises. In the beginning, I was promised 256KB/s while I got around 350 KB/s, as the speed for my broadband. Now, thanks primarily to a software which I use, called Tuneup Utilities, my download speed is round about 3.5 MB/s, when I am supposed to get to the limit of 2 MB/s. The staff of BSNL Belgaum, are very earnest, and helpful. I believe, that BSNL has too many customers. They cannot provide support to everyone, if there is a common problem, but I have no complaints.
I purchased a modem for a price, much less than what is available in the market, from BSNL, it being a government service. There are connectivity problems with other service providers, perhaps, I don't know.I hope I was not an advertisement for BSNL Belgaum.
