I am using BSNL dataone with home 500 plan at home in Medavakkam in Chennai. Under this plan there will be 2.5 gb of the total download limit. Unlimited usage can be availed between 2-8 in early morning hrs. So I used to download during the free hours only.
As there was no such link to see the download usage. Continue to same I downloaded in same hours and then I received a bill of Rs, 3810 for 1 and half month. With continues requests and a lot of effort, they are able to create a link for dataone users to check broadband usage. I surprised to see that they have charged me on total download @*.80 p. The next unbilled consolidated amount is 5300/-. Since the limit is only 2.5GB and my total of first 1 and half month comes up around 4 GB. So they calculate on 4000 * 80.p = 3200 + Rental + Service Tax + Etc = 3800. Additionally I paid for bsnl fone + installation + Modem + etc for Rs 2423/- previous month. I then approached the BSNL office in Medavakkam, They said they said that whatever the amount reflected in the bill, you have to pay. Is it justified statement?
I applied for this bsnl broadband connection because I thought being a govt org, It will give good speed as compared to Airtel and others plus Unlimited download. But now I come ton know that they are India’s No.1 LOOTING COMPANY CONNECTION INDIA.. Believe it or not its true.
