As a government product everyone expect great network.Beyond this great expectations it succeeded by providing network to more no of rural areas and occupied good position in mobile operators.But when I am using bsnl network I faced some issues that we can't send messages to a friend even he is standing behind us what a strange network!.But Some times we get network where other networks can't work.I observed many of people who are living around rural areas used to prefer bsnl because of huge network.
Pros:
Good network even in rural areas
Cons:
network issues.
