I was confused to buy BSNL Landline connection for BB or go to new 3G wireless datacard. I was trying to know how the signal was or would I get connected or not. I took a risk and bought BSNL 7.2 Mbps datacard which I got it for Rs 2500 due to festive offer.
As it was a risk for me to know whether I would get signals , I went for basic prepaid pack for Rs 250 which
offers 6GB per month.
Software installation was pretty simple, can do yourself. Just install and connect. You are on the net..
Gave me good speed.
No connectivity issues.(Never got disconnected in the middle).
Seeing this, finally I subscribed to unlimited plan which is Rs 4200 for 6 months.
If all the documentation are fine, you would get the datacard and 3G activated in few hours.
You can start using it the same day.
BSNL 3G unlimited for 6 months Rs 4200(Festive Offer) + Rs 2500 Datacard for 7.2 Mbps
Hope this review will be helpful.
Stay TUNED for further updates this week. Will be back after stress tests this week.
Update as on 16th Nov 2010:
Connected to net for about 8 hours from 6PM.
Speed was consistent ranges from 500 Kpbs to 1 Mbps.
It got 3 times disconnected in 8 hours, reconnecting is just a click.
When tested for the speed using other speed testing sites, I got .8 to 2Mbps as the download speed.
I believe the result may change according to the location and also signal strength.
This update given above is observed when I was using the net. This may vary with others.
Above updates are just for the information.
Update as on 17th Nov 2010: YET TO COME... stay tuned

I am on unlimited plans, so no restrictions. It is unlimited as promised from BSNL.
Speed is good, in rare case signal drops and disconnects.
All the above updated info was the observation from me. It may change from user to user.
It was nice sharing the exp with 3G. Hope you too enjoy 3G.
Update as on 24th Oct 2011:
