''How many of you guys have bikes'' Ooh!! I see a lot of hands up. Where is this smell coming from???

AAh!!! .....Igot ....My hand to is up too...........my deodrant doesn't work all that good.Never mind I'll write a review on that someother day.

I'm sweating.... I just cycled home by my BSA SLR Photon.

Steve Smart : You said you have a bike ?

Ya ya!!!! My cycle's my bike. Hey thats what Enid Blyton used to say in those Famous Five, Secret Seven books - ''Dick rode home on his bike...George's bike's tyre punctured''

So until I get my own motorbike let me call this - BIKE

The story of my bike is like......

''I always wanted to ride my elder brother's bike. But he never let me.......'' Heard it somewhere??

Steve Smart: You just said it now!!

Smart huh?? John Abraham says it for his Yamaha ad.

Steve Smart: why are you saying it then?

Smart again huh?? ok I'll tell you why. Firstly I've got no elder brother. I have a younger one. He learnt to bicycle earlier than I did. I never wanted to ride any bike until everybody said ''the younger one is sharper than the elder''. Ok then I felt I too should ride a bike...err...cycle. To tell the truth though my brother is 4 younger he taught me how to cycle.

Then to my surprise father said,''you need a bigger cycle not one with those balancers''..... ok...I was in 6th then psst...don't tell this to anybody....My friends by then were already doing stunts on their cycles..woh hota hai na woh skidding....and that Pulsar ad wala tricks.

''And THEN'' as John Abraham says, I got my first big cycle. It was BSA SLR Photon. Elder brother gets everyhing first;) Sorry younger ones.Though my freinds had gear cycles by then.....That sick lady in the shop advised my father not to buy the geared one because the chain alays comes off. Then he told me to cycle home on that cycle. He was in the car....I on the cycle......and from then started another chapter of my father's usual lectures - Lecture on traffic rules (ok even now I get them while driving the car...thats a different thing)

BSA SLR Photon looked very thin like a malnutrioned baby infront of the strong sturdy herculean Hercules And heroic Hero Ranger cycles. Its mudguard is only a little thicker than my thumb. Its tyres are very much thinner than any other mountain bike. At first instance except for its bright blue colour I didn't find anything that attractive...............

...........It was until THAT day when my friends finally challenged me for a cycle race(Now....Picture change from John Abraham to Aamir Khan in Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander) I didn't know what my cycle was really 'built' for. The lady at the shop said right - thinner cycles with thin tyres are much faster than the other sturdier ones.

So I won the race........Ok... Ok... Thank you... thank you... please...please..

I used this cycle for many purposes.....going to tutions....to friends houses....everybody liked this cycle.

Even the guys with the geared ones simply loved. True- The geared cycles have a lot of problems. Of course geared cycles help you climb uphills easily.........Hey you can always tone up good thigh and calf muscles riding ups ..ok

Steve Smart:Partiality huh??

Hey look at my calf muscles....look at my...

Steve Smart:ok...ok..The review's on the cycle...bike in your case.

I used this cycle even in my 10th when my friends started riding the 'real bikes'(...well...My father said ''No bike until 18....''). So...... My cycle couldn't enjoy any of 'Pehla Nasha Pehla....' songs from its rider after 10th (as I always left my cycle at my friends house.....poor thing I always felt guilty doing this to my baby).

It has been 8 years and still the cycle is very good in condition maybe the break wire broke once.Whatever it might be BSA SLR Photon is surely a wonderful bicycle. It, with its thin tyres just zooms ahead.

Ok Now there might be better cycles out there with cooler gadgets and stuff but don't always go for looks and accessories. Just ask the shop keeper and try this sometime.

About gears....you can always use them while riding motorbikes and cars....so enjoy your cycle days without them.

Thank you for reading my review

Regards

Sameer
