We bought one BPL microwave ovens 8 years ago, I'm not sure which model exactly, but the features in 600 T resembles ours. It also had a glass boomerang turntable, was non-convection.
You can hardly use these ovens for major cooking. If you turn it on, your electricity meter will spin like a top. We used it infrequently, for making popcorn, tea, heating up food, average 10 minutes a day.
I am doubtful about the power consumption values that the company gives. They mention, ''Microwave power output is 800W'' which I think is the COOKING power, not that it consumes 800W an hour. I think the actual power consumption for such a rating is 1600W an hour. Take a look at these websites to get an idea:

This oven of ours, the main component (I think the magnetron tube) had to be replaced after 7 years. The replacement cost was around Rs. 3000 (plus service charges of Rs. 500) which is almost the price of a new oven. A service technician of a different microwave oven company told me that the cost of this component is Rs. 2000. It could be that BPL's components are better, I don't know. Verify the cost of components before buying a microwave oven.
